It introduces the relationship between two variables and is called correlation. Proportionality or variation is state of relationship or correlation between two variables It has two types: direct variation or proportion which states both variables are positively correlation. It is when both the variables increase or decrease together. On the contrary, indirect variation or proportion indicates negative relationship or correlation. Elaborately, the opposite of what happens to direct variation. One increases with the other variables, you got it, decreases. This correlations are important to consider because you can determine and identify how two variables relates with one another. Notice x = y (direct), y=1/x (indirect)

Monique made several batches of soup.
const2013 [10]

Answer:

8 batches

in workings show whats left over but not counted.

As a batch its a whole number as the multiplier will usually be the fraction

and fraction / fraction should always show fraction but the whole number given with a remainder can be shown if not a whole number.

Step-by-step explanation:

6 1/2 = 6.5

and ;

3/4 of a pound = 0.75  of 1 pound

6.5 / 0.75 = 8.7         or in full workings write = 8.6666.....7

8.7/ 1 = 8 batches with 0.7 or 0.66667 left over

Answer In fraction for exam question given in fraction  8.7 = 8  batches

with  7/10 left over.

• PQ²+PR²=QR²<br>• PQ²+QR²=PR²<br>• PR²- PQ²=QR²<br>• PR²- QR²=PQ²<br>
den301095 [7]

Answer:

Option A

{pq}^{2}  +  {pr}^{2}  =  {qr}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because here,

PQ is the Height of the right triangle.

QR is the Base of the right triangle.

PR is the Hypotenuse of the right triangle.

So, as according to Pythagoras Theorem,

{base}^{2}  +  {height}^{2}  =  {hypotenuse}^{2}

Also,

{pq}^{2}  +  {qr}^{2}  =  {pr}^{2}

Not,

{pq}^{2}  +  {pr}^{2}  =  {qr}^{2}

Hence, Option A is not correct.
