The correct answer for this question is letter (B) The electromagnetic waves reach Earth, while the mechanical waves do not. <span>The sun generates both mechanical and electromagnetic waves.</span> Space, between the sun and the earth is a nearly vacuum. So mechanical wave can not spread out in the vacuum.

The answer is B. The electromagnetic waves reach Earth, while the mechanical waves do not. Electromagnetic waves have the capacity to travel in a vacuum through the vibration of the atoms around the Sun. Mechanical waves however, need a medium in order to travel in a vacuum.

<u>Solution and Explanation:</u>

The following calculation is made in order to find out the area and the final velocity vector.

Using the given information and the data in the question,

m1u1 + m2u2 = (m1 + m2)  multiply with v

40000 multiply with ( -20i ) + 60000 multiply with ( 10j ) = 100000 multiply with v

  Therefore, v = -8i + 6j

That is  |v| = 10 knots towards the 36.86 degree north of the west

Because electricity and magnetism are so closely related, factors that affect one often affect the other.
xenn [34]

Answer:

The interactions of electricity and magnetism are difficult to explain in nontechnical terms.  This is primarily because one has to describe the interactions in terms of invisible "force fields" which shift, expand, contract, strengthen, weaken, and rotate in space, and these are very difficult to describe adequately in verbal terms.  In mathematical terms, coupled sets of three-dimensional vector differential equations are required, and these are also quite difficult to visualize.

lana66690 [7]

Answer:

dV = 32.98 cm³

Explanation:

We know that

V = f ( h,r)

dV= \frac{\partial V}{\partial r}dr+ \frac{\partial V}{\partial h}dh

We also know that

V=\pi r^2h

dV= 2\pi h dr + \pi r^2 dh

Given that

h= 10 cm

d=10 cm ,  r= 5 cm

Thickness = 0.05 cm so  dr = 0.05 cm

The metal in the top and the bottom is 0.2 cm thick  so dh = 0.2 + 0.2 cm

dh = 0.4 cm

Now by putting the values

dV= 2\pi h dr + \pi r^2 dh

dV= 2\times \pi \times 5\times 0.05 + \pi \times 5^2\times 0.4\ cm^3

dV = 32.98 cm³
