3 yards=9 feet
Perimeter= length * width

For this question you will need to do conversions.

Remember that 1 yard = 36in so
3 \times 36 = 108

And for ever 1 foot, there is 12in (look on a measuring tape if you have one). So for this you do
12 \times 4 = 48

Now add the perimeter:

P=2(l+w)
2(108+48)
2(156) = 312

So the perimeter of this rectangle is 312in.

Hope this helps!

the contractor demands a working temperature of 82 degrees Fahrenheit. what is the equivalent temperature in degrees Celsius
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

27.8 Celsius

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation to convert Fahrenheit and Celsius is:

F = (9/5)C + 32

82 = (9/5)C + 32 -- subtract 32 from both sides

50 = (9/5)C -- multiply both sides by 5

250 = 9C -- divide by 9

27.777 = C

round up to 27.8 C

Given f'(x) = (1 − x)(4 − x), determine the intervals on which f(x) is increasing or decreasing.
Sophie [7]
The critical points are at x = 1 and x = 4 giving you the intervals (-inf, 1), (1, 4) and (4, inf).

By substituting x values in these 3 intervals, you can see that f'(x) is positive in the first and third intervals and negative in the second interval.

This means that f(x) is increasing in the first and third intervals and decreasing in the second interval.

The answer is D.

JulijaS [17]
Breads/cereals;

11 * 140 = 1540 calories

Fruits/vegetables;

9 * 60 = 540 calories

Meat/milk;

x * 180 = 2800 - (1540 + 540)

180x = 2800 - 2080

180x = 720

x = 4 servings
