I'm not an expert, but from what I remember, the y-intercept is where the line passes the y-axis, so in this case, it would be 4. In order to get to the next point, you would have to go down 4 points and left 2, which would be 4/2 = 2/1 = 2. Take my answer with a grain of salt, but I think it would be y = 2x + 4. There doesn't seem to be a graph with squares, so I can't be absolutely certain.

Determine the following equation pls help
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

subtract a constant from both sides

Step-by-step explanation:

The first step in solving an equation like this is to get the coefficients and variables by themselves, and to do that, you must separate the coefficients (numbers being multiplied by a variable) from the constant (numbers not being multiplied by a variable). You do this by subtracting the constant from both sides of the equation to ensure that they are equal (you subtract -10 from both sides here (adding 10 to both sides)).

For which sample size (n) and sample proportion (p) can a normal curve be
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

Option c.

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the normal curve to approximate a sampling distribution:

For a sample size n and a proportion n, the normal curve can be used if:

np \geq 10 and n(1-p) \geq 10

Option a:

np = 35*0.8 = 28 > 10

n(1-p) = 35*0.2 = 7 < 10

So option a cannot be used.

Option b:

np = 65*0.9 = 58.5 > 10

n(1-p) = 65*0.1 = 6.5 < 10

So option b cannot be used.

Option c:

np = 65*0.8 = 52 > 10

n(1-p) = 65*0.2 = 13 > 10

So option c can be used, and is the answer

Option d:

np = 35*0.9 = 31.5 > 10

n(1-p) = 35*0.1 = 3.5 < 10

So option d cannot be used.

The answer is given by option c.
