May not be much help since I’m confused but if you want y or whatever, isolate the variable by doing the inverse operation.

For example if you add 2 subtract it so it will cancel out. Of course to balance the equation you must do it to te other side.

Ask yourself what is stopping the variable To be by itself?

And get rid of it bun doing the inverse operation

If you add, subtract

If you subtract, add

If you multiply, divide

If you divide, multiply

If your dealing with squared numbers, find the square root of it

If it’s sign isn’t there and it positive, subtract

If it’s sign isn’t there and it’s negative, add

Im sorry if i wasn’t much help!

Solve the systems of equations. <br>
rewona [7]

Answer:

x = -1 and y = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve 3x+3y=−6;−x+y=0

Steps:

I will solve your system by substitution.

−x+y=0;3x+3y=−6

Step: Solve−x+y=0for y:

−x+y+x=0+x(Add x to both sides)

y=x

Step: Substitutexforyin3x+3y=−6:

3x+3y=−6

3x+3x=−6

6x=−6(Simplify both sides of the equation)

6x

6

=

−6

6

(Divide both sides by 6)

x=−1

Step: Substitute−1forxiny=x:

y=x

y=−1

Is the set of numbers one 1,5,25 and 125 a geometric sequence
Strike441 [17]
Short answer: Yes.
Each member of the sequence is multiplied by 5 to get to the next member of the sequence.

Find the general equation.
tn = a*5^(n - 1)

Example
t4 = 1*5^(4 - 1)
t4 = 1*5^3
t4 = 125 just as the sequence shows.

t5 = 1^5^4
t5 = 625     Any member of the sequence can be found this way.
