Ok so remember that a circle is 360 degrees and a line is 180 degrees
so

IKJ
ok so we see that we have a triangle
to find the internal angles (which add to 180)
we do, opposite angles are equal
JIK=59
also CJI+KJI=180 so 132+KJI=180, KJI=48
so
59+48+IKJ=180
73=IKJ

HIB
we can assume that AB is paralell to CD
so therefor IJK=HIB=48 (from previous question)

EIJ is adding to EIH to get 180
EIJ+59=180
EIJ=121

AIK=AIJ+JIK
JIK=59
AIJ=HIB=48
AIK=59+48=107

IKJ=73
HIB=48
EIJ=121
AIK=107

What is another expression for...
20% - $117.76 = $16.62
and how dose it work?
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

0.20 - $117.76= $16.62

Step-by-step explanation:

if you have a percentage you can always turn it into a decimal just put the number behind the period: 70% = .70, 49% = .49% ....

then you do the rest of the equation and BOOM!

20% - $117.76 = $16.62 = 0.20 - $117.76= $16.62.

Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

the dimensions of a square are altered so that 8 inches is added to one side while 3 inches is subtracted from the other. the ar
VladimirAG [237]

Let

x--------> original length side of a square

we know that

area rectangle=length*width

area=126 in²

length=(x+8)

width=(x-3)

so

126=(x+8)*(x-3)------> x²-3x+8x-24=126----> x²+5x-150=0

using a graph tool------> to resolve the second order equation

see the attached figure

the solution is

x=10 in

the answer is

the original length side of a square is 10 in
