Answer : The peter can buy 2 watches.

Step-by-step explanation :

Peter has total money = $100

Original price of a watch = $60

Discount % = 25 %

First we have to determine the price of a watch after discount.

Price of a watch = \frac{25}{100}\times \$ 60=\$ 15

Price of a watch after discount = Original price - Price of a watch at the time of discount

Price of a watch after discount =$60 - $15

Price of a watch after discount = $45

Now we have to determine the price of 2 watches.

Price of 2 watches = 2 × $45

Price of 2 watches = $90

From this we conclude that, peter can buy 2 watches because he has $100 money that is more than the price of 2 watches.

Thus, the peter can buy 2 watches.

Do 60 divided by 4 ( 25 percent) which is 15. 60-15 is 45. 45 plus 45 is 90 so yes he has enough money to buy two watches

You buy a box worth of Takis chips for $20(how many bags does not matter). You want to sell
Ronch [10]
You would need to sell at least 11 bags in order to make $68 profit. In total, to earn back what you spent on the box originally, you would need to make $88, which is how much 11 bags costs. If you make $88, then you have earned back the $20 spent on the box, and made the $68 profit.

Morgan made a mistake when subtracting the rational expressions below.
Nat2105 [25]

Answer : D

\frac{3t^2-4t+1}{t+3} - \frac{t^2+2t+2}{t+3}

The denominators are  same

So we combine the numerators

\frac{(3t^2-4t+1)-(t^2+2t+2)}{t+3}

To remove parenthesis we distribute negative sign inside the second parenthesis

\frac{3t^2-4t+1-t^2-2t-2)}{t+3}

\frac{3t^2-4t+1-t^2-2t-2)}{t+3}

\frac{2t^2-6t-1)}{t+3}

Morgan made a mistake. He forgot to distribute the negative sign

Morgan forgot to distribute the negative sign to two of the terms 2t  and 2 inside second parenthesis
