The beneficial uses of bacterial toxins in medicine are more and more used lately. For example, Botulinum toxin is a toxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum which has paralytic effects (injection of this toxin into muscle relax specific muscles). Botulinum toxin accomplishes his effects on the neuromuscular junction where he prevents the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (Ach). Utilization of this toxin is in the treatment of various muscle spasms. It is also used in the treatment of migraines. Diphtheria toxin is also one of the toxins used for medical purposes for the treatment of cutaneous and non-Hodgkin T-cell lymphomas. Some bacterial toxins can be used in the treatment of tumours. For example, immunotoxin, which is protein made by fusion of modified antibody and toxin. The antibody binds to an antigen on the target cell, the toxin then enters via endocytosis and kills the cell. Commonly used bacterial toxins in immunotoxins are Diphtheria toxin and the Pseudomonas exotoxin.

Producers are organisms that capture sunlight from the sun to make organic food. Consumers are animals and get food by consuming other organisms. Decomposers break down all dead organisms from a soil bacterium part of the food cycle. Detritivore feed on organic matter. Producers get their food from the sun. And compete with all organisms above them on the food pyramid. A food chain is a cycle pathway of life, relationships among organisms is a mutualism that results in energy. Most energy is lost as metabolic heat, the total heat, and energy wast. Meaning that each level only receives 10% of the energy in the level

The Punnett square shows a cross between two parents. The allele (H) represents the mutated gene that causes Huntington’s diseas
Lelu [443]

Answer:

The disease is autosomal dominant.

Explanation:

Huntigton's disease is an autosomal dominant disease because the allele for this disease is present on an autosomal chromosome and the person with even one mutated allele (H) can develop the disease even if he has one normal allele (h) too. If a person is affected with Huntigton's disease, there are 50 percent chances that the children will also suffer from the disease.

For example: A father is suffering from Huntigton's disease but mother is normal. Let us see how it will be passed to kids.

P1: Hh : hh

Gametes: H : h: h: h

Offspring: Hh: Hh: hh: hh

                                               50% : 50%

Therefore, 50 percent chances are there that the kids will have disease even if only parent suffers from it.
