The answer is c. \frac{46}{9}

a. \frac{11}{5}=2.2 (2.2≠5.11) (2.2 is not equal to 5.11)

b. 5\frac{1}{8}=\frac{5}{8} or 0.625 (0.625≠5.11) (0.625 is not equal to 5.11)

c. \frac{46}{9} =5.11 (5.11=5.11) (5.11 is equal to 5.11)

Therefore c is the answer

Remark
What this is trying to tell you is that you have two factors. Each in turn can be zero, but they cannot be zero at the same time. You will get that kind of question, just not now.

So either - n = 0 or 5n - 4 =0

Solution
- n = 0     Multiply both sides by - 1
(-1)*(-n) = 0*-1
n = 0

5n - 4 = 0   Add 4 to both sides.
5n = 4        Divide by 5
n = 4/5

Comment
B and D are both wrong 4/5 is positive. and those list n as -4/5 which is wrong.
A is wrong because the function will not go to 0 if n = -1

It would be C. This is because the dates are associated with the letter they provide (D), and likewise with the pomegranates, to equal 12 dollars.

In a sample of 115 115 curtains, the average length was found to be 32.2in. 32.2 ⁢ in. With a standard deviation of 0.8 0.8 . Gi
pentagon [3]

Answer:

The point estimate for the population standard deviation of the length of the curtains is 8.58in.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Central Limit Theorem estabilishes that, for a normally distributed random variable X, with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, the sampling distribution of the sample means with size n can be approximated to a normal distribution with mean \mu and standard deviation s = \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}.

For a skewed variable, the Central Limit Theorem can also be applied, as long as n is at least 30.

In this problem, we have that:

s = 0.8, n = 115

The point estimate for the population standard deviation of the length of the curtains is \sigma. So

s = \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}

\sigma = s\sqrt{n}

\sigma = 0.8\sqrt{115}

\sigma = 8.58

The point estimate for the population standard deviation of the length of the curtains is 8.58in.
