Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

2x-y=4  ⇒y=2x-4

x²+y²=13

⇒ x²+(2x-4)²=13

⇒ x²+4x²+16-16x=13

⇒ 5x²-16x+3=0

⇒ 5x²-15x-x+3=0

5x(x-3)-1(x-3)=0

⇒ (5x-1)(x-3)=0

either 5x-1=0 or x-3=0

x=1/5 or x=3

when x=1/5=0.2, y=2/5-4 i.e. y=-3.6

when x=3, y=2

Hence, solution of x²+y²=13 and 2x-y=4 is:

x=0.2,y= -3.6  and x=3,y=2

Answer:

Prisms have two congruent -- or identical -- bases, and pyramids only have one base. The shape of the base on pyramids and prisms can vary, depending on the shape of the overall three-dimensional object. For example, the base could have a square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, pentagon or octagon shape.

An 5kg object is 6 meters what is the potential energy
AVprozaik [17]

Potential Energy of an object of 5kg which is 6 meters in height is 294 Joules.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given:

Mass = m = 5 kg

Height = h= 6 meters

Potential Energy = ?

The formula used to find Potential Energy is:

Potential\,\,Energy =mgh

where m is mass, g is gravitational field and h is height

Putting the given values of mass and height, and g=9.8 m/s^2

Potential Energy = 5*9.8*6\\Potential Energy = 294 Joules

So, Potential Energy of an object of 5kg which is 6 meters in height is 294 Joules.

GEOMETRY HELP URGENT?
nadezda [96]

Let the centre be O and the line with one end point at the centre and another at the chord CD touches the chord at S .

So CS is the half of 36.7 = 18.35

sin \angle COS = \frac{18.75}{21.8}

\angle COS = sin^{-1}(\frac{18.75}{21.8}) =59.35 degree\\

Therefore,

\angle COD =2*59.35 =118.7

Therefore the measurement of arc CD is 118.7 degree.
