Muscles convert chemical energy into MECHANICAL ENERGY.

Body muscles allow humans to consciously move different parts of their body. Muscles depend on the energy obtained from food to carry out their activities of movement. Energy that comes from food is called chemical energy. Mechanical energy on the other hand is the energy that is associated with one motion and position. Thus, in muscles, chemical energy is converted to mechanical energy.

LiRa [457]

Answer: Well, a mole is really the same thing. For a chemist, a mole conjures up the number 6.02 times 10 to the 23rd, not a fuzzy little animal. The only difference is that the other quantities are more familiar to us. Lol

So basically, the change in color effects the amount of cations in the solution making it a physical change rather than a chemical one, defying the law of conservation of mass! I hope this helped! (The only time the change in color affects the amount of cations is in the Alkaline Earth Metals)

The quantity (current times voltage ) is
maksim [4K]

Answer:

Electrical power

Explanation:

An electric circuit can be defined as an interconnection of electrical components which creates a path for the flow of electric charge (electrons) due to a driving voltage.

Generally, an electric circuit consists of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, battery, transistors, switches, inductors, etc.

The electrical power of an electric circuit can be defined as a measure of the rate at which energy is either produced or absorbed in the circuit.

Mathematically, electrical power is given by the formula;

Electrical \; power = current * voltage

This ultimately implies that, the quantity (current times voltage ) is electrical power and it is measured (S.I units) in Watt (W).

The reaction of sodium peroxide and water produces sodium hydroxide and oxygen gas. The following balanced chemical equation rep
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

3.925 mol.

Explanation:

 • From the balanced equation:

2 Na₂O₂(s) + 2 H₂O(l) → 4 NaOH(s) + O₂(g) ,

It is clear that 2 moles of Na₂O₂ react with 2 moles of H₂O to produce 4 moles of NaOH and 1 mole of O₂ .

Using cross multiplication:

4 moles of NaOH produced with → 1 mole of O₂ .

15.7 moles of NaOH produced with → ??? mole of O₂ .

∴ The no. of moles of O₂ made = (1 mole)(15.7 mole)/(4 mole) = 3.925 mol.
