Answer:

We need to explain how can say that whether a polygon has symmetry or not.

If a line or more divides a polygon in two congruent parts such that one parts in mirror image of another part across that line, then the polygon has symmetry.

In other words, if a line is drawn on a polygon and that line divides the polygon in such a way so that If we can reflect one part of polygon over that line and the we get second part.

That line is called line of symmetry and line of reflection.

If a polygon have line of symmetry, then the polygon has symmetry.

Answer with Explanation:

If a polygon has symmetry, then it has reflective portion over the line of symmetry.

Note that a rectangle doesn't have the diagonal lines of symmetry since its portion doesn't overlap another.

The simplest symmetry is Reflection Symmetry (sometimes called Line Symmetry or Mirror Symmetry). It is easy to see, because one half is the reflection of the other half.

I hope it will help you.

Sonja [21]

Answer:

1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

People who answered less than 1/2 were: 2 + 1 + 3 = 6 people.

There are a total of 36 people.

People who answered their calls before the second ring were only 6/36.

When we simplify the fraction, we get 1/6.

So, the answer is 1/6.

If Shannon wants to fill a spherical balloon so that it has a circumference of 8π in, how much air will she need to use to fill
lapo4ka [179]

The Volume of air needed for a spherical balloon of radius 4 inch and circumference 8π is 85.3 cubic inch

Volume of Sphere

Given Data

 • Circumference = 8π

Let us find radius

circumference = 2πr

8π = 2πr

8 = 2r

r = 8/2

r = 4 inch

Let us find the volume of the sphere

Volume = 4/3πr^3

Volume = 4/3* π*4^3

Volume = 4/3*π64

Volume = 256π/3

Volume = 85.3 cubic inch

If remove the zero from 0.76 would it change the value of the number
wariber [46]

Question 1:

Answer: The number does not change

Removing the zero from 0.76 leads to .76 which is the same as before. Both lead to 7.6 \times 10^{-1} in scientific notation.

Personally I prefer the zero up front to make the decimal point stand out easier. Of course it's just a preference, so its up to you to decide which you prefer.

===========================================

Question 2:

Answer: Yes the number changes

Taking the zero out of 10.25 leads to 1.25 which is definitely a different number (and smaller). Therefore, this zero is a significant digit compared to before.

The perimeter of a square picture frame is 5.4 inches . What is the length of one side? Write and equation and slove.
Anarel [89]

Answer:

s = 1.35 (See explanation!)

Step-by-step explanation:

To write an equation, you need to know that all four sides of a square are equal. Since each side is equal, it can be represented by the same variable or value. I'll use s for the variable:

Equation:

4s = 5.4

Note: the 4s is the total perimeter (4 * side)

Now, solve:

4s = 5.4

Divide by four to isolate the s:

4s/4 = 5.4/4

Finally:

s = 1.35
