 Laws are mathematical relationships that describe an observed phenomena e<span> that are consistently found to be true.</span>Theories scientifically explain how or why<span> the natural phenomena occur.  </span><span>
Theories cannot become laws because each serves a different purpose.
</span>Newton's theory of gravity explained that there was an attraction between mass similar to the attraction due to electron static forces.It turns out Newton's theory was  incomplete, but <span>Newton's Law of Gravity remains true at least at normal speeds and masses found in the universe</span>

A beam of protons moves in a circle of radius 0.20 m. The protons move perpendicular to a 0.36-T magnetic field. (a) What is the
gregori [183]

Answer:

a) v=6.898\times 10^{6}\ m.s^{-1} is the speed of each proton

b) F_c=3.97\times 10^{-13}\ N

Explanation:

Given:

radius of path of motion, r=0.2\ m

we know charge on protons, q=1.6\times 10^{-19}\ C

magnetic field strength, B=0.36\ T

we've mass of proton, m=1.67\times 10^{-27}\ kg

a)

From the equivalence of magnetic force and the centripetal force on the proton:

F_B=F_C

q.v.B=\frac{m.v^2}{r}

q.B=\frac{m.v}{r}

where:

v = speed of the proton

(1.6\times 10^{-19})\times 0.36=\frac{1.67\times 10^{-27}\times v}{0.2}

v=6.898\times 10^{6}\ m.s^{-1} is the speed of each proton

b)

Now the centripetal force on each proton:

F_c=m.\frac{v^2}{r}

F_c=1.67\times 10^{-27}\times \frac{(6.898\times 10^6)^2}{0.2}

F_c=3.97\times 10^{-13}\ N

A 12-kg turtle rests on the bed of a zookeeper's truck, which is traveling down a country road at 62.0 mi/h. The zookeeper spots
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

0.25683

Explanation:

t = Time taken by the truck to stop = 11 seconds

u = Initial velocity of the truck = 62 mi/h

v = Final velocity of the truck = 0

a = Acceleration of the truck

g = Acceleration due to gravity = 9.81 m/s²

Equation of motion

v=u+at\\\Rightarrow a=\frac{v-u}{t}\\\Rightarrow a=\frac{0-\frac{62}{2.237}}{11}\\\Rightarrow a=-2.5196\ m/s^2

\mu mg=ma\\\Rightarrow \mu=\frac{ma}{mg}\\\Rightarrow \mu=\frac{a}{g}\\\Rightarrow \mu=\frac{2.5196}{9.81}\\\Rightarrow \mu=0.25683

The minimum coefficient of static friction between the turtle and the truck bed surface needed to prevent the turtle from sliding is 0.25683

A gas bottle contains 7.86×10^23 Oxygen molecules at a temperature of 327.0 K.
castortr0y [4]

Answer:

1.  E=5320.3J

2. E= 1773.45J

3. E=6.76*10^{-21}J

4. E=2.25*10^{-21}J

Explanation:

1. the thermal energy is given by the formula

E_T=\frac{3}{2}NK_BT=\frac{3}{2}(7.86*10^{23})(1.38*10^{-23}\frac{J}{K})(327.0K)=5320.3J

where KB is the Boltzmann's constant, T is the temperature and N is the number of molecules in the system.

2. Each degree of freedom contains one half of the total energy. Hence, the energy for one degree of freedom is

E_1=\frac{1}{2}NK_BT=1773.45J

3.

E=\frac{3}{2}K_BT=6.76*10^{-21}J

4.

E=\frac{1}{2}K_BT=2.25*10^{-21}J

Hope this helps!!

For maximum radiation protection the suggested distance between array fan-beam scanner source and the operator is:
krok68 [10]

For maximum radiation protection the suggested distance between array fan-beam scanner source and the operator is 2m.

The Fan beam 5 position reference system (PRS) uses accurate time-of-flight laser technology to determine vessel position relative to custom reflectors.

A fan beam allows only the measurement of the azimuth angle. A fan beam, one with a narrow beam width in azimuth and a broad beam width in elevation, can be obtained by illuminating an asymmetrical section of the paraboloid.

The operators’ desk should be positioned at least 1m away from a pencil beam, and at least 2m from a fan-beam system. Some older models, that are not now common, require a distance of 3.5 m.
