Usually during exercise, unlike during rest times the muscle cells need to respire more. So they need more oxygen and glucose for energy and the carbon-dioxide produced as waste must be removed quickly. So when person gets tired or breathes heavily during intensive workouts means they are in need of more oxygen. So the cells starts performing anaerobic(lactic acid ) respiration even though it releases less energy.

Estimate the size of the specimen using your knowledge of Field of View. Write formula, plug in the values, and solve
Bezzdna [24]

Answer and Explanation:

Size of the cell=diameter of field in цm/number of cells across the field

Example:

A student observed a row of 16 epidermal cells in a microscopic field that was 800цm in diameter. Calculate the average length of each cell.

Answer:

size of the cell=8000цm/16

                       = 500цm.

2. How does temperature describe motion?
Burka [1]

Answer:

As the temperature increases, the kinetic energy of the molecules of the liquid increases. The movement of the molecules gradually overcomes forces of attraction between the molecules, with the result that they have greater freedom to move, over greater volumes.

Explanation:

I hope this helps :)

14. Operons allow prokaryotes to
Vladimir79 [104]
14: Operons allow prokaryotes to replicate DNA at the appropriate time.

Operons are specific regions of genes that are linked to a singular process. They ensure that the expression of these genes does not go unchecked and only occurs when necessary. Two key examples of this in humans are the lac operon and trp operon.

15. The central dogma of molecular biology is:

DNA to RNA to Proteins

Protein Synthesis occurs in 3 steps.

First our DNA is translated into RNA. Next the RNA is sequenced into Amino Acids by reading the corresponding 3-Base Codons. These Amino Acid sequences form various protein structures.
