g(x)=-3x+2

we can compare it with

slope intercept of line

y=mx+b

so,

slope is m=-3

y-intercept is b=2

we can draw graph

Range:

we are given domain

(-1,2]

At x=-1:

g(-1)=-3*-1+2

g(-1)=5

At x=2:

g(2)=-3*2+2

g(2)=-4

we know that

range is all possible values of y

so, range is
