we are given

g(x)=-3x+2

we can compare it with

slope intercept of line

y=mx+b

so,

slope is m=-3

y-intercept is b=2

Graph:

we can draw graph

Range:

we are given domain

(-1,2]

At x=-1:

g(-1)=-3*-1+2

g(-1)=5

At x=2:

g(2)=-3*2+2

g(2)=-4

we know that

range is all possible values of y

so, range is

[-4,5).........Answer

What is the degree of the polynomial and what the y-intercept
Arada [10]

Answer:

Polynom degree: 5

Y intercept point: (0, 80)

Step-by-step explanation:

P(x)=(x+5)(x+4)²(x+1)²

When you expand, the highest power of x is 1 for first term (x+5), 2 for second term (x+4)² and again 2 for (x+1)². Overall, x⁵ will be the x term with highest power. So the degree of the polynom is 5.

The y intercept, i.e. intersection with OY axis, happens for x=0. Thus, P(0)=5×4²×1²=5×16=80. The y intercept point is (0, 80)

Please please please I'm begging you help me find the y intercept for these I will give brainliest
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

1. (2+2)/(-3+4)= 4/1= 4

y + 2 = 4(x + 4)

y + 2 = 4x + 16

y = 4x + 14 y-intercept:(0,14)

2. (0+5)/(-1+2)= 5/1= 5

y + 5 = 5(x + 1)

y + 5 = 5x + 5

y = 5x

y-intercept (0,0)

3. (-1+1)/(-5-3)= 0/-8= 0

y + 1 = 0(x - 3)

y + 1 = 0

y= -1

If the probability of an events is 2/7 what must be the probability of its compliments
monitta

Answer:

The probability of its compliments = 0.7143 = 5/7

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability of an events = P= 2/7 = 0.2857

The probability of its compliments = 1-p = 1-0.2857 = 0.7143 = 5/7

The area of a rectangle is greater than 60 ft. The width of the rectangle is 2x - 3 ft and the
34kurt

Answer:

Inequaliy: 2x-3(12)>60

X>48

Step-by-step explanation:

Since area of a rectangle is W(L)=A

The inequality given right here including length And width and area Plugged in would be

2x-3(12)>60.  (It’s >60 because the area stated in the problem said to be greater then 60 so we put a Greater then sign)

Combine like terms and solve

2x-36>60

Add 36 on both sides

2x>96

Divide 2 on both sides to isolate variable

x>48

Check:

2(50)-36>60 ( I used 50 because it’s greater then 48 and it’s a easy number to work with for just a check)

solve:

100-36>60

64>60✔️
