Name: Michelle

Period: in 30 days?

Revd: 16

1: We can say that the total of the length is 9, so:

(3x - 2) + (x-1) = 9

3x + x = 9 - 3

4x = 6

x = 6/4

x = 1.5

SO: (3x - 2) = (3x1.5 - 2)= 4.5 - 2 = 2.5

and

x - 1 = 1.5 - 1 = 0.5

You're welcome!! thank you for the test... revoir ~~

- 8x + 44 ≥ 60
- 8x ≥ 60 - 44
- 8x ≥ 16
x ≤ - 2

- 4x + 50 < 58
- 4x < 58 - 50
- 4x < 8
x > - 2

Now put the two together. Logically, these two answers since a number cannot be both less than AND greater than - 2.

Your answer should be no solution.

Dmitrij [34]

Answer: The value of test statistic is 2.442.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

n = 238

Sample mean = 23.2 minutes

Standard deviation = 20.26 minutes

Hypothesis :

H_0:\mu=20\\H_a:\mu\neq 20

So, the test statistic value would be

z=\dfrac{\bar{x}-\mu}{\dfrac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}\\\\z=\dfrac{23.2-20}{\dfrac{20.26}{\sqrt{236}}}\\\\z=2.442

Hence, the value of test statistic is 2.442.
