Answer:

5.10 m

Explanation:

Given that:

Initial velocity given to the ball, v = 10 m/s

Mass of the ball, m = 0.3 kg

Acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8m/s^2

To find: The height upto which the ball will go =  ?

Solution:

Initially, the ball will have kinetic energy and at top point the velocity will be zero, it will have only potential energy due to height.

Formula for kinetic energy and potential energy:

KE  = \dfrac{1}{2}mv^2\\PE = mgh

Applying conservation of energy principle:

\dfrac{1}{2}mv^2=mgh\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2}v^2=gh

Putting the values of v and g to find h:

\Rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2}10^2=9.8\times h\\\Rightarrow h = \dfrac{50}{9.8}\\\Rightarrow h = 5.10\ m

<em>The ball will go 5.10 m high</em>.

How is amplitude changed in an instrument or tuning fork
azamat

Amplitude is affected by the energy wave in the instrument. High energy wave means high amplitude and low energy wave means low amplitude.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The amplitude of a periodic variable is a measure of its change over a single period. There are various definitions of amplitude, which are all functions of the magnitude of the differences between the variable's extreme values.

The amount of energy carried by a wave is related to the amplitude of the wave. Amplitude of an instrument is directly affected by the wave of the energy in the instruments. High energy wave means high amplitude and low energy wave means low amplitude in the instrument.

Answer:

SO4

Explanation:

I'm not sure if you're asking for more than one answer but S04 is one of them, you can search it up if you don't believe me

ion with the subscript of the atoms in a polyatomic ion. There is only ONE Cu and ONE S04, so get the charge for the Cu based on the S04. The formula is S04 , and there is only ONE S04 2, so Cu's charge here must be +2 for the compound to have an overall charge of zero. = copper (Il) ion S04 = sulfate ion then CuS04 = copper (Il) sulfate

A student weighing 120 lbs climbs a 12 ft flight of stairs in 9 seconds. how much power did the student create?
Alex Ar [27]
Power can be calculate through the equation,
                        Power = Force x velocity

It should be noted that velocity is calculated by dividing displacement by time. Thus, from the given in this item we can calculate for the power.
                       Power = (120 lb) x (12 ft/9 s)
                         <em> </em><span><em>Power   = 160 lb.ft/s</em></span>
