It is because weight can be change in different gravity but mass remains same in any condition 'cause it does not depend on any physical condition.

10. Aqua means "water" or "a light blue color." Marine refers to the sea. Use this information
Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

\huge\blue{ \mid{ \underline{ \overline{ \tt  ♡ AQUAMARINE ♡ }} \mid}}

=> The colour of this stone is usually a pale greenish blue, owing to the presence of iron impurities. Stones that are treated with heat look more blue than green. On the Mohs scale of hardness, aquamarine ranges between 7.5 and 8 making it a relatively hard gemstone.

=> The best way to identify a real aquamarine stone is by looking at its colour. In its natural form, they have a pale blue colour, which is similar to seawater. They may have a slight green or yellow tint as well. Naturally occurring gems have excellent clarity and transparency.

=> The hardness of the stone is another feature you can use to identify the stone. Aquamarine stones are hard and they don’t get scratches easily. However, they can easily scratch glass and other such surfaces. So, if you find visible scratches on the stone, rethink your decision to buy it.

=> Most faceted aquamarine stones are clean to the eye and clear of any inclusions. However, translucent and opaque aquamarine is also available. These are usually fashioned into cabochons or beads. In some cases, inclusions may appear as parallel tubes. Such stones can be crafted to show a cat’s eye. Stones with cat’s eye and star effect are rare and highly priced.

Carbon atoms can be identified based on the # of which subatomic particles
34kurt

Answer: protons and neutrons.

The nucleus is made up of 3 subatomic particles that are protons,neutrons and electrons.

General notation of an element is _{Z}^{A}\textrm{X}

where, X is the Element, A is the Atomic Mass and Z is the Atomic Number

If we know the number of protons we can easily find out the atomic number of any element because Atomic Number = Number of protons in an element.

And in addition if we know the number of neutrons we can easily find out the atomic mass of an element because

Atomic Mass = (Number of protons) + (Number of neutrons)

If we get to know the atomic number and atomic mass, we can easily tell what element is it by looking from the periodic table.

What is the volume of 0.80 grams of o2 gas at stp? (5 points) group of answer choices 0.59 liters 0.56 liters 0.50 liters 0.47 l
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

0.56L

Explanation:

This question requires the Ideal Gas Law:  PV=nRT where P is the pressure of the gas, V is the volume of the gas, n is the number of moles of the gas, R is the Ideal Gas constant, and T is the Temperature of the gas.

Since all of the answer choices are given in units of Liters, it will be convenient to use a value for R that contains "Liters" in its units:R=0.0821\frac{L\cdot atm}{mol\cdot K}

Since the conditions are stated to be STP, we must remember that STP is Standard Temperature Pressure, which means T=273.15K and P=1atm

Lastly, we must calculate the number of moles of O_2(g) there are.  Given 0.80g of O_2(g), we will need to convert with the molar mass of O_2(g).  Noting that there are 2 oxygen atoms, we find the atomic mass of O from the periodic table (16g/mol) and multiply by 2:  32g\text{ }O_2=1mol\text{ }O_2

Thus, \frac{0.80g \text{ }O_2}{1} \frac{1mol\text{ }O_2}{32g\text{ }O_2}=0.25mol\text{ }O_2=n

Isolating V in the Ideal Gas Law:

PV=nRT

V=\frac{nRT}{P}

...substituting the known values, and simplifying...

V=\frac{(0.025 mol \text{ }O_2)(0.0821\frac{L\cdot atm}{mol \cdot K} )(273.15K)}{(1atm)}

V=0.56L \text{ } O_2

So, 0.80g of O_2(g) would occupy 0.56L at STP.

Water combines with carbon dioxide Choose one: A. only in the atmosphere. B. to produce hydrogen sulfide. C. to precipitate calc
katovenus [111]

Water combines with carbon dioxide to produce slightly acidic groundwater

that dissolves limestone and forms caves.

This is because the reaction between water and carbondioxide to form

bicarbonate ions( HCO₃⁻). The bicarbonate ions dissociate into Hydrogen

atoms thereby increasing the acidity.

The acidic environment results in the formation of acidic groundwater that

dissolves limestone and forms caves.
