It is because weight can be change in different gravity but mass remains same in any condition 'cause it does not depend on any physical condition.

At constant pressure, which of these systems do work on the surroundings? Check all that apply.
lana66690 [7]
I believe the correct answers from the choices listed above are the second and the last option. At constant pressure, the systems 2A(g) + B(g) ---> 4C(g) and 2C(g) A(s) + B(s) ---> C(g) produces work to the surroundings. When a gas is evolved during a chemical reaction, the gas can be imagined as displacing the atmosphere - pushing it back against the atmospheric pressure. The work done is therefore V*P where V is the volume of gas evolved, and P is the atmospheric pressure.

Which best explains why water is able to “stick” to the side of glass?
AveGali [126]

Explanation:

Adhesion means the ability to stick on the surface of another substance.

Water exhibits adhesive forces due to which it is able to stick to the glass. Due to adhesive forces water spreads over the surface of glass and sticks to it.

These adhesive forces between the glass and water enough that it deforms the spherical shape of water molecules and help them stick to the surface of glass. As a result, adhesive forces overcome the repulsion between like molecules.

Hence, water is able to “stick” to the side of glass due to strong adhesive forces.
