Answer:

slope = 1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{y_{2}- y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }

Use the equation to find the slope between any two points. Then plug in the corresponding numbers into the equation and simplify.

(-8) - (-10) / 3 - (-3)

-8 - (-10) = -8 + 10 = 2

3 - (-3) = 3 + 3 = 6

2/6 = 1/3

Slope = 1/3

Let a equal measure of a angle a. The equation 360゚= a + 90゚+ 135゚+ 75゚ represents the sum of the angles in the quadrilateral. F
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

A = 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

First to find the missing angle you add the three known angles,

90 + 135 + 75 = 300

Then, you subtract, 360 - 300 = 60

<h3>So, 360° = 60° + 90° + 135° + 75°</h3><h3 />

I NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cricket20 [7]

you must substitute x in the equation given :)

examples:

when x is -2

therefore, y = 2(-2) + 3

y = -1

when x is 0

therefore, y = 2(0) + 3

y = 3

when x is 1

therefore, y = 2(1) + 3

y = 5

when x is 3

therefore, y = 2(3) + 3

y = 9

for (b) you only have to plot based on the table ;)

hope this helps

Translate this problem to an equation and solve. The area of a patio is 72 square feet. The length of the patio is 1 foot longer
Inessa05 [86]
A = LW
A = 72
L = W + 1

72 = W(W + 1)
72 = W^2 + W
W^2 + W - 72 = 0
(W + 9)(W - 8) = 0

W + 9 = 0
W = -9......extraneous solution...does not work here

W - 8 = 0
W = 8 <==

L = W + 1
L = 8 + 1
L = 9

so the width (W) is 8 ft and the Length is 9 ft
