A1=2
a2=-8
a3=32
a4=-128

a2/a1=(-8)/2→a2/a1=-4
a3/a2=32/(-8)→a3/a2=-4
a4/a3=(-128)/32→a4/a3=-4

a2/a1=a3/a2=a4/a3=r=-4

an=a1*r^(n-1)
an=2*(-4)^(n-1)

The explicit rule for the nth term of the given sequence is an=2*(-4)^(n-1)

Suppose a DVD costs $19 and a CD cost $14. Right in the inequality to find how many CDs you can buy along with one DVD if you ha
andrezito [222]

Answer: 19 + 14x ≤ 65

Explanation:

$19 is only added once because there is only one DVD purchased. $14 is added an unknown number of times, thus the variable X is included. We know that that the total number of dollars spent for both items is either less than or equal to 65. (Depending on your teacher, they may want you to write "19 + 14x < 65" if they want you to write the answer only for discrete numbers).

(Problem of the Week)
ira [324]

Answer:

He won 13 times and lost 1 time

Step-by-step explanation:

divide 67 by 5 so 67÷5 you would get 13.4 you take the whole number 13 and multiply it by 5 and that will get you to 65 so then you only have 2 left over and if you lose you get 2 point so therefore you know that he lost only once

(13•5)+2=67
