No, 24 wouldn't be the correct answer. When multiplying two negative numbers it always turns positive. Other than that, multiplying two number will have the same answer. -3×-6=18 misread my bad

What fraction makes this division
sentence true?
2/3 divided by ? = 4
NeX [460]

Answer:

1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

The opposite of dividing by a fraction is multiplying by the inverse of the fraction. So, to find out what fraction to divide by you need to find what number you need to multiply 2/3 by to get 4.

2/3 x 6 = 4

So if you want to divide instead of multiply, just find the inverse of the number you are multiplying by.

The inverse of 6 is 1/6. Therefore, 2/3 divided by 1/6 equals 4.

(2/3)/(1/6) = 4

Look at the figure which step should be taken next to construct a line parallel to AB
FinnZ [79.3K]
My answer is the 2nd option.

Without changing the compass setting from the previous step, place the compass on point P. Draw an arc similar to the one already drawn.

Parallel lines are lines that do not meet. In this figure, point P is the point where the 2nd line can be drawn and become parallel to line AB.
