She can make 42 identical packages which contains 2 chocolate chip cookies and 1 sugar cookies.

86 / 2 = 43 chocolate chips cookies

42 / 1 = 42 sugar cookies

Though the chocolate chip cookies can make 43 packs, the sugar cookies cannot fulfill the extra pack for it only has 42 pieces. That is why the maximum number of package that  has identical content is 42 packages.

Which is equivalent to RootIndex 3 StartRoot 8 EndRoot Superscript one-fourth x?
Nat2105 [25]
<h3>Answer: Choice C</h3>

RootIndex 12 StartRoot 8 EndRoot Superscript x

12th root of 8^x = (12th root of 8)^x

\sqrt[12]{8^{x}} = \left(\sqrt[12]{8}\right)^{x}

=========================================

Explanation:

The general rule is

\sqrt[n]{x} = x^{1/n}

so any nth root is the same as having a fractional exponent 1/n.

Using that rule we can say the cube root of 8 is equivalent to 8^(1/3)

\sqrt[3]{8} = 8^{1/3}

-----

Raising this to the power of (1/4)x will have us multiply the exponents of 1/3 and (1/4)x like so

(1/3)*(1/4)x = (1/12)x

In other words,

\left(8^{1/3}\right)^{(1/4)x} = 8^{(1/3)*(1/4)x}

\left(8^{1/3}\right)^{(1/4)x} = 8^{(1/12)x}

-----

From here, we rewrite the fractional exponent 1/12 as a 12th root. which leads us to this

8^{(1/12)x} = \sqrt[12]{8^{x}}

8^{(1/12)x} = \left(\sqrt[12]{8}\right)^{x}

How do I solve question 13 and 14?
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

13. 13 or 17 (not sure about this, sorry)

14. 28

Step-by-step explanation:

13.

a_{n} = \{a_{0}, a_{1}, a_{2}, a_{3}, a_{4}, ... \} \\

if counting the sequence from a_{0} then a_{4} is 17, but if

a_{n} = \{a_{1}, a_{2}, a_{3}, a_{4}, a_{5}, ... \} \\

counting from a_{1}, then a_{4} is 13.

14.

a_{10} = 1 + 3(10 - 1) = 1 + 3*9 = 28

9 x 10 to the power of 2 how many times as much as 3 x 10 to the -2 power
hjlf

Answer:

  3×10^4

Step-by-step explanation:

The desired factor is found by calculating the ratio of the two numbers:

  k = (9×10^2)/(3×10^-2) = (9/3)×10^(2 -(-2)) = 3×10^4

The first number is 3×10^4 = 30,000 times as much as the second number.
