y is part of a right angle on line AB

 a right angle = 90 degrees

 90-47 = 43 degrees

y = 43 degrees

a straight line = 180 degrees

180-47 = 133 degrees

 x = 133 degrees

Answer:

cos(x)=0.6

Step-by-step explanation:

cos(x) represents the horizontal distance of the unit vector

sin(x) represents the vertical distance of the unit vector (0.8)

Write the point-slope form of an equation for a line that passes through the point with the given slope (–6, –6), slope = -4/7
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in point- slope form is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b) a point on the line

here m = - \frac{4}{7} and (a, b) = (- 6, - 6), hence

y - (- 6) = - \frac{4}{7} (x - (- 6) ), that is

y + 6 = - \frac{4}{7}(x + 6) ← c or d
