DNA is found in the nucleus of a cell. Depending on the type of cell, different parts of the DNA are used (example; if it's an eye cell, the DNA will use the segment that is dedicated to the functions of the eye). When a protein is needed, the DNA will split and in a process called transcription, the DNA messages are copied onto mRNA. The mRNA then leaves the nucleus through nuclear pores, and then travels through the cytoplasm to locate ribosomes which will produce the proteins needed to express whatever trait it codes for.

What conclusions can be drawn about the existence of carbon-12, carbon-13, and carbon-14? A) These are forms of carbon and they
Kryger [21]

Answer:

C.

Explanation:

All these carbon atoms are isotopes: they have the same amount of protons (in this case, 6 because carbon always has 6 protons) and the same amount of electrons (6 because the carbons given have a neutral charge).

Therefore, the only thing we are changing is the atomic mass and the amount of neutrons present in each isotope.

In Carbon-12, there are 6 protons, 6 neutrons, and 6 electrons.

In Carbon-13, there are 6 protons, 7 neutrons, and 6 electrons.

In Carbon-14, there are 6 protons, 8 neutrons, and 6 electrons.

How many 02 molecules are required for two glucose molecules to undergo cellular respiration?
jekas [21]
Answer: 12

Explanation: the reaction is: C6H12O6 + 6 H2O + 6 O2 -> 6 CO2 + 12 H2O + 38 ATP + heat
Because of the 2 glucose molecules you multiply the stoichiometry with a factor 2 so: 2 x 6 O2 = 12 O2

In what ways has poland suffered because of its lack of natural barriers
nikitadnepr [17]
The region of Poland has suffered from the few limits of European states with respect to the international politics of the 20th century. The variations of the borders of Poland is due to the absence of natural barriers in the east-west. The extension of the border is the cause of constant changes in stability that have shaken the country and the inhabitants.
