The 4 litres of red has to be 2 parts of the mixture, so each part will be 2 litres. Therefore 3 parts of cream will be 6 litres and the one part of blue will be 2 litres.

So you have 2 parts red=4 litters, so one part red would be 2 litters making blue two litter and red 3 last equal to six

Alina [70]
The function is:
f ( x ) = 1,000 · 2^x
x is the number of weeks.
1. y - intercept is : y = 1,000.
2. The y-intercept represents the cicada population at the start ( for x = 0 ).
f ( 0 ) = 1,000 · 2^0 = 1,000 · 1 = 1,000.
3. The 2 in the function shows that cicada population doubles every week.

Line a passes through the points (-2,1) and (1,-1). Line b passes through the points (-3,2) and (-1,0). DO lines a and b interse
velikii [3]

Answer:

You can draw a graph.

  (-3,2)                     |

            (-2,1)            |

      ___.__(-1,0)__ | __.____.___

                                |     (1,-1)

                                |

                                |

As shown, the lines are intersecting. You can also tell that they are intersecting because if you draw a triangle, they are on the same line. (-3,2) and (-2,1) are directly diagonally from each other.

Hope this helps!
