The 4 litres of red has to be 2 parts of the mixture, so each part will be 2 litres. Therefore 3 parts of cream will be 6 litres and the one part of blue will be 2 litres.

So you have 2 parts red=4 litters, so one part red would be 2 litters making blue two litter and red 3 last equal to six

Simplify the product using FOIL (2x-7)(5x+5)
babunello [35]

Answer:

10x^2-25x-35

Step-by-step explanation:

FOIL means first, outer, inner, and last.

The first term of each pair is 2x and 5x.

The outer term of each pair is 2x and 5.

The inner term of each pairs are -7 and 5x.

The last term of each is -7 and 5.

Now we just have to multiply the terms I pairs above:

First: (2x)(5x)=10x^2

Outer: (2x)(5)=10x

Inner: (-7)(5x)=-35x

Last: (-7)(5)=-35

------------------------------Add the terms:

10x^2-25x-35

K(x) k(-3) 2x^2-5x+3
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

When k(x) is 2x² - 5x + 3, k(-3) = 36.

Step-by-step explanation:

k(x) = 2x² - 5x + 3

Substitute the input of x.

k(-3) = 2(-3)² - 5(-3) + 3

Square -3.

k(-3) = 2(9) - 5(-3) + 3

Multiply 2 and 9.

k(-3) = 18 - 5(-3) + 3

Multiply -5 and -3.

k(-3) = 18 + 15 + 3

Add 18 and 15.

k(-3) = 33 + 3

Add 33 and 3.

k(-3) = 36.

What is the answer so I can answer it on my side of the phone
amm1812

Answer:

C. 134.04 cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula to calculate the volume of the cone is:

+) Volume of a cone = 1/3 x Area of base x Height

The base of the cone is a circle, so that the formula to calculate the are of the base is: Area of base = \pi x radius^{2}

The radius of the base is 4cm

=> Area of base = \pi x 4^2 = 3.14 x 16 = 16\pi cm^{2}

The height of the cone is given equal to 8 cm

So the volume of the cone is:

+) Volume of a cone = 1/3 x Area of base x Height = 1/3 x 16\pi x 8 = 134.04 cm^{2}

So the answer is C
