First find the rate of growth using the formula of
A=p e^rt
A 7200
P 6000
E constant
R rate of growth?
T time 6 hours
We need to solve for r
R=[log (A/p)÷log (e)]÷t
R=(log(7,200÷6,000)÷log(e))÷6
R=0.03 rate of growth

Now predict how many bacteria will be present after 17 hours using the same formula
A=p e^rt
A ?
P 6000
R 0.03
E constant
T 17 hours
A=6,000×e^(0.03×17)
A=9,991.7 round your answer to get
A=9992

Hey there!

In order to solve this, we'll have to find how many additional bacteria the culture gains per hour. We can do this with some simple math:

7200 – 6000 = 1200

1200 ÷ 6 = 200

The culture gains 200 more bacteria per hour. Now, just multiply that by 17 hours and add that to the initial amount in the culture.

200 × 17 = 3400

3400 + 6000 = 9400

There will be a total of 9400 bacteria in the culture after 17 hours.

Hope this helped you out! :-)

Answer:

The angles on the top form 180 degrees, a line. So, 180 = 4x + 72 which gives you x = 27 Angle BFC is 66 degrees, angle CFD is 54 degrees, and angle BFA is 29 degrees. Therefore, C. 27 degrees is not a measure of an angle in the figure

A map is laid out in the standard (x,y) coordinate plane. How long, in units, is an airplane's path on the map as the airplane f
xeze [42]

Answer:

Distance between the points A and B is 15.52 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

It has been given in the question that an airplane flies along a straight line from City A to City B.

Map has been laid out in the (x, y) coordinate plane and the coordinates of these cities are A(20, 14) and B(5, 10).

Distance between two points A'(x, y) and B'(x', y') is represented by the formula,

d = \sqrt{(x-x')^{2}+(y-y')^{2}}

So we plug in the values of (x, y) and (x', y') in the formula,

d = \sqrt{(20-5)^{2}+(14-10)^{2}}

d = \sqrt{(15)^{2}+(4)^{2}}

d = \sqrt{225+16}

d = 15.52

Therefore, distance between the points A and B is 15.52 units.
