Throwing the bowling ball would have the greatest negative velocity becasue Principle of the Conservation of Momentum states that: if objects collide, the total momentum before the collision is the same as the total momentum after the collision (provided that no external forces - for example, friction - act on the system). That’s amazingly useful because it means that you can tell what is going to happen after a collision before it has taken place. Principle of Conservation of Energy: Of course, energy is also conserved in any collision, but it isn't always conserved in the form of kinetic energy.

Given that the bowling ball has a greater mass, the momentum that it will acquire will be higher than the momentum in the case of the tennis ball.

Therefore, the conservation of moment principle tells you that, to compensate the greater momentum of the bowling ball, you will acquire a greater negative velocity when you throw the bowling ball than when you throw the tennis ball.

I believe that is true. Anaerobic means without (much) Oxygen. This usually builds up lactic acid in muscles.

How does this picture apply to Newtons 3rd law.Please make it well developed!!!Thanks!
Orlov [11]

Explanation for the given picture:

Initially, three principles of movement proposed by Sir Isaac Newton in 1686 "Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis". The third law says that every action (force) in nature has an equal but has opposite reaction.

In other words, when object A produces force on object B, then this object B also exerts the same but opposite forces on object A. Remember that forces get exerted on various objects. For example, if we put a wooden block in the floor, this block will create a force that should be equal to its mass, W = mg, which will work down.

The photo above clearly shows a person jumping off a tree on a wooden board, and therefore bouncing on the board because of the force exerted by the wooden board. Newton's third law is important if a person uses his power as weight (W = mg), and this in turn turns the person upside down! hence

Newtons 3rd law applies in above picture.

Let’s calculate Ms Jackson’s acceleration as she comes to a stop. Remember that the formula for acceleration is the change in ve
Natali [406]

Answer:

-1.5 m/s^2

Explanation:

The acceleration of an object is equal to the change in velocity of the object divided by the time taken for the object to change the velocity:

a=\frac{v-u}{t}

where:

u is the initial velocity

v is the final velocity

t is the time taken for the velocity to change from u to v

For Ms Jackson in this problem, we have:

u = 6 m/s (initial velocity)

v = 0 m/s (final velocity)

t = 4 s (time elapsed)

Substituting into the equation, we find the acceleration:

a=\frac{0-6}{4}=-1.5 m/s^2

And the negative sign indicates that the direction of the acceleration is opposite to the direction of motion.
