To understand the economy and social conditions that existed in Europe during the 1930s, we need to understand the aftermath of World war I. Europe after the war was very much suffering in the economy with many countries in dept.

German was humiliated by the Treaty of Versailles, asked to pay the large reparations to the allies along with other agreements which affected the social and economic conditions for the German people. Totalitarianism state allows no freedom and rights for people. Adolf Hitler becomes Chancellor and later declare himself as dictator of Germany got hold of total control of the country. Nazi Germany removed all political organisations by authorising a dictatorial state with only one leader.
