Autotroph are producers. they produce their own light, water, and carbon dioxide. in the trophic levels, autotroph is considered the first level of the trophic levels otherwise known as producers. all food chains start with an autotroph. if there was an increase in autotroph, then there will be an increase in the animals that eat them. if there was a decrease in autotrophs, then the entire food chain will be affected. the animals depending on that certain type of autotroph will then have to find another food source, or they will eventually die of starvation

What part of the female system is the usual site of fertilization of the ovulated oocyte?.
Paul [167]

Fertilization of the egg cell by the sperm usually takes place in the fallopian tube. The fertilized egg then travels to the uterus and implants in the endometrium.

What are fallopian tubes?

 • Fallopian tubes are also called oviducts or uterine tubes. It is the passage through which the egg enters the uterine cavity from the ovary.
 • Fallopian tubes are part of the reproductive tract. They have a smooth muscle wall, an inner mucous membrane, and an outer layer of loose supporting tissue (serosa).

Why does fertilization take place in the fallopian tubes?

The fallopian tube (oviduct) regulates fertilization through sperm induction and sperm hyperactivity. Sperm induction is achieved by rheotaxis, thermotaxis, and chemotaxis. Rheotaxis is caused by tubal fluid that creates a current flow from the tubal ampulla to the tubal isthmus.

How do the nitrogen bases pairs join in DNA?
Korolek [52]
There are 4 nitrogenous bases in DNA. Adenine pairs with thymine, and Guanine pairs with cytosine. A Dna Nucleotide consists of a 5 carbon sugar, a phosphate group and a nitrogenous base. These bases are paired up by weak hydrogen bonds, so when they have have to replicate, the enzyme helicase can easily unzip the Dna.
