(change in output)/(change in input)
or
(change in total cost)/(change in number of tickets)
so if you have (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) the rate of change is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

pick 2 points

(x,y) wher x is number of tickets and y is total cost

(25,120) and (30,144)
(144-120)/(30-25)=24/5=4.8 per tiket

Geometry math question please help
denis-greek [22]

In parallelogram the opposite sides are equal. Therefore we have the equation:

8a-4=6a+10\ \ \ |+4\\\\8a=6a+14\ \ \ |-6a\\\\2a=14\ \ \ |:2\\\\\boxed{a=7}

In the parallelogram, the sum of measures of the angles at one side is 180°. Therefore we have the equation:

(18b-11)+(9b+2)=180\\\\(18b+9b)+(-11+2)=180\\\\27b-9=180\ \ \ |+9\\\\27b=189\ \ \ \ |:27\\\\\boxed{b=7}

Answer:

c = a + b → c = 7 + 7 = 14

A. 14
