The estimated daily basal metabolic rate for a man who weighs 150 lb is 1636 kcal.
Basal metabolic rate is the rate of energy expenditure per unit time by endothermic animals at rest. Metabolism comprises the processes that the body needs to function. It is the amount of energy per unit time that a person needs to keep the body functioning at rest. Any increase to the metabolic weight, such as exercise, will increase the basal metabolic rate.

We can not estimate the person basal metabolic rate based on his weight only. We need other information such as age and height or the percentage of the body fat.

Further explanation

Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) also known as body metabolism, is the number of calories required to keep our body functioning at rest. In this state, energy will be used only to maintain vital organs, such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, nervous system, intestines, liver, lung, muscles, and skin. To get an accurate measurement, a person should be completely rested.

There are three versions of BMR measurement, but the one that uses a lot and more accurate than the others is the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation:

For men: BMR = 10Weight + 6.25Height - 5Age + 5

For women: BMR = 10Weight + 6.25Height - 5Age - 161

From the formula above we can conclude that weight, height, and age affected someone BMR.

Factors that affect BMR such as:

 • Muscle mass: anaerobic exercises lead to higher BMR because it builds muscle mass.
 • Weather: Cold weather increasing the BMR because of the energy required to warm the body (homeostatic). On the other hand, hot weather also increasing the BMR because of the energy required to cool off the body.
 • Diet: a small regular diet will increase the BMR, but starvation can reduce BMR .
 • Pregnancy increases BMR

Reasoning
Q6: Based on all the other questions talking about common ancestors I deduced that to find a “common” ancestor they need to find things that are the same.

Q7: All arthropod have a exo skeleton for example a lobster or crab. They all have a head, abdomen and thorax for example ants. They all have legs with joints for example a spider.

Q7:So bones are traveled down by ancestors so the types of bones stay the same but natural selection has changed them to better fit their environment.

What makes angiosperm more advance than gymnosperm
USPshnik [31]

Answer& Explanation:

Angiosperm is more advanced due to the mechanism of protection it has since developed as opposed to its predecessor, gymnosperm. Angiosperms could be deemed the inventors of animal-mediated pollination or dispersal, whereas gymnosperms mostly depend on wind-mediated pollination (which is far more of a gamble than animal mediated).

1) Angiosperms seeds are enclosed in fruits, which increases the chances of dispersal by either wind, water, or animals. Animals can eat the fruit and disperse the seeds via feces or by brushing the fruit off of their fur coats new areas of the terrain.

2)The development of flowers. Flowers are especially important because depending on the flower it can attract a set species of animals in order for pollination to occur. That species of animal could only focus on those few flowers and would allow the female part of the flower to receive pollen (produced by the male part of the flower) from all over the place. This theory is also applicable to animal mediated fruit dispersal.
