Answer:

 The phase angle in an RLC circuit is determined by the value of the components, the frequency of the source, and the type of connection (series o parallel). The phase shift is the difference in peak in the waves from different circuit points, or in relation to the power source.

Explanation:

The phase angle can be determined in a series circuit by the equation:

\omega = 2*\pi*f  \\
\phi = tan^{-1}{\left[ \frac{2*\pi*f*L-(\frac{1}{2*\pi*f*C})}{R} \right ]}/tex]

And in a parallel circuit:
[tex]\omega = 2*pi*f  \\
\phi = tan^{-1}{\left [R\frac{1}{2*\pi*f*L}-2*\pi*f*C  \right ]}

And finally to calculate the phase shift, you can substrac the phase angle, from the source angle, that usually is 90°.

A volleyball player’s hand applies a 39 N force while in contact with a volleyball for 2 seconds. What is the impulse on the bal
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

78 N s

Explanation:

The impulse exerted on the ball is given by:

I = F \Delta t

where

F is the magnitude of the force

\Delta t is the duration of the collision

In this problem,

F = 39 N

\Delta t = 2 s

Substituting,

I=(39 N)(2 s)= 78 Ns

Half Time At 3:00 the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock point in directions that are 90.0
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

3 : 08 : 10.9

Explanation:

assuming a 12 hour clock

angular velocity of the hour hand is 2π/(3600(12)) rad/s

angular velocity of the minute hand is 2π/3600 rad/s

difference is 2π/3600 - 2π/(3600(12)) = 11(2π/(3600(12)) rad/s

45° = π/4 radians

This angle is covered in a time of

π/4 rad / 22π / (3600(12)) = 900(12) / 22 = 490.909090... s

or about 8 minutes 10.9 s
