erchlorates are powerful oxidizing agents used in fireworks, flares, and space shuttle booster rockets. Lewis structures for the

perchlorate ion (ClO4−) can be drawn with all single bonds or with one, two, or three double bonds. Draw each of these possible resonance forms, including any nonbonding electrons. Include the values of any nonzero formal charges. Use formal charges to determine the most important resonance structure and calculate its average bond order.

1. Que factores provocan la oxidación?
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

Mira la explicación.

Explanation:

Hola,

Saludos!

CH4(g) + 2O2(g) → CO2(g) + 2H2O(l): ΔH = −890 kJ
V125BC [204]

Answer:

The reaction of one mole of oxygen (O2) releases 445 kJ of energy.

Explanation:

Firstly, the reaction is exothermic since the sign of enthalpy change ΔH  is negative.

The balanced equation: CH₄(g) + 2O₂(g) → CO₂(g) + 2H₂O(l): ΔH = −890 kJ,

Shows that 1 mole of CH₄ react with 2 moles of oxygen and releases 890 kJ.

So, every choice says that absorb is wrong (choice 1& 3).

Choice no. 4 is wrong since it says that 2 moles of methane releases 890 kJ, because only one mole release this amount of energy.

So, the right choice is The reaction of one mole of oxygen (O2) releases 445 kJ of energy.

A 3.689 g object is added to 7.29 mL of water causing The water level to rise to 8.54 ML. What is the density of the object? Rou
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

2.95 g / mL

Explanation:

For this problem, we will simply use the equation that density is equivalent to mass over volume.  We are given the mass of the object and the initial and final volumes of water in the cylinder.  Thus we can find the density as such:

Density = Mass / ( Final Volume - Initial Volume )

Density = 3.689 g / ( 8.54 mL - 7.29 mL )

Density = 3.689 g / ( 1.25 mL )

Density = 2.9512 g / mL

Hence, the density of the object is 2.9512 g / mL.

Cheers.
