Suppose that a constant force is applied to an object. newton's second law of motion states that the acceleration of the object

varies inversely with its mass. a certain force acting upon an object with mass 4 kg produces an acceleration of 11 /ms2 . if the same force acts upon another object whose mass is 22 kg , what would this object's acceleration be?

The force on 4kg mass will be
4*11 = 44 N
and the acceleration of 22kg mass will be
44/22 = 2m/s^2

A car accelerates uniformly from rest and reaches a speed of 22.0 m/s in 9.00 s. Assuming the diameter of a tire is 58.0 cm, (a)
Virty [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given:

Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s (at rest)

Final velocity, v = 22 m/s

Time, t = 9 s

Diameter, d = 58 cm

Radius, r = 0.29 m

Using equation of motion,

v = u + at

a = (22 - 0)/9

= 2.44 m/s^2

v^2 = u^2 + 2a × S

S = (22^2 - 0^2)/2 × 2.44

= 99.02 m

S = r × theta

Theta = 99.02/0.29

= 341.44 °

1 rev = 360°

341.44°,

= 341.44/360

= 0.948 rev

= 0.95 rev

B.

Final angular speed, wf = v/r

= 22/0.29

= 75.86 rad/s

What is the difference between air resistance and friction?
Vladimir [108]

Answer:Friction is a force that opposes the motion of objects; friction can cause objects to slow down. Air resistance is a type of friction. Air resistance causes moving objects to slow down. Different physical properties, such as the shape of an object, affect the air resistance on an object.

12. The diameter of a circle is 2.42m. Calculate its<br>area in proper significant figure
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

A = 4.6 [m²]

Explanation:

The area of a circle can be calculated by means of the following equation.

A=\frac{\pi }{4} *D^{2}

where:

A = area [m²]

D = diameter = 2.42 [m]

Now replacing:

A=\frac{\pi }{4} *(2.42)^{2} \\A = 4.6 [m^{2} ]

One source error is __________, and one of its solutions is having a lie scale inserted into the assessment. A. social desirabil
8090 [49]

The correct answer is B; Deliberate deception

Further Explanation:

Deception is one when a person is fully aware of what they are doing. They are hiding the truth and making a conscious decision to tell someone something that has no truth. Deception can also be used when describing a magic trick such as a sleight of hand.

Lie scales are used when there are redundant questions that ask the same questions over and over with different formats to see if the answers are consistent over time.
