Answer: 5809m²

Step-by-step explanation:

A=pi x r²

so you do 50 divided by 2 because we have diameter no radius, so we get 25

and we do 70 divided by 2 and get 35

since there is a "²" we will do 35x35 and get 1225

and 25x25 and get 625

and THEN we do 625x3.14(aka pi), the same for 1225, we do 1225x3.14 and we get                   1962.5 (for the 625 thing)               and 3846.5(1225 thing)

Then we do 1962.5 + 3846.5 because we are finding the area of 2 gardens, so we get 5809m²

first off, let's convert the mixed fraction to improper fraction and then proceed, let's notice that by PEMDAS or order of operations, the multiplication is done first, and then any sums.

\stackrel{mixed}{1\frac{7}{8}}\implies \cfrac{1\cdot 8+7}{8}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{15}{8}} \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ -\cfrac{3}{4}~~ + ~~\cfrac{15}{8} \div \cfrac{1}{2}\implies -\cfrac{3}{4}~~ + ~~\cfrac{15}{8} \cdot \cfrac{2}{1}\implies -\cfrac{3}{4}~~ + ~~\cfrac{15}{4} \\\\\\ \cfrac{-3+15}{4}\implies \cfrac{12}{4}\implies 3

For the number before x you would look for the rise over the run. in this case you can see that there is an intersection at (-2,0) and (0,1) you find the difference ox each so you have 2/1 or just 2 you can tell that the line is going up so it is positive. for the addition part look at where the y intercept is in this case it is at positive one. this makes your equation y=2x+1
