From archeological evidence, and also from tracing racial, and linguistic patterns throughout the regions today, where these groups existed, during prehistoric times, it seems that the one group that seemed to almost keep isolated, with very little contact with the other groups from the region, and very little exchange, were the Australians. Polynesians, micronesians and especially melanesians, according to archeological and linguistical data, seem to have been pretty given to seafaring, trading, exchanging, and even adapting to each other. This seems to be the pattern at least until AD 1450. After this time, these patterns start to change dramatically.

Interestingly enough, there is only two countries that exist in the whole Australian continents, the new Zealand and the Australian itself
