The final price would be 29.69

To find this answer you could simply take the $39.59 and divide it by 4. You would then get 9.8975, that is 1/4 of $39.59 AKA 25%. So then you take your 39.59 and subtract the 25%.

39.59-9.8975=29.69

I hoped this helped, k :)

$9.90 is correct. Because if you take 39 dollars and 59 cents and times it by 25 percent. That's the answer you get.

Graph the polygon and its image after a dilation centered at C(1,1)
Grace [21]

Now we proceed to present the graphs of the polygon and its image with the help of a graphing tool. The original polygon is highlighted in red and the image is highlighted in blue.

DIlations are defined by the follwing operation:

P'(x,y) = O(x,y) + k\cdot [P(x,y)-O(x,y)] (1)

Where:

 • O(x,y) - Center of dilation.
 • k - Dilation factor.
 • P(x,y) - Original point of the polygon.
 • P'(x,y) - Dilated point of the polygon.

If we know that O(x,y) = (1,1), k = 0.5, J(x,y) = (3,1), K(x,y) = (5, -3), L(x,y) = (5,5) and M(x,y) = (3,7), then the coordinates of the new polygon are:

J'(x,y) = (1,1) + 0.5\cdot [(3,1)-(1,1)]

J'(x,y) = (1,1)+0.5\cdot (2,0)

J'(x,y) = (1,1) +(1,0)

J'(x,y) = (2,1)

K'(x,y) = (1,1) + 0.5\cdot [(5,-3)-(1,1)]

K'(x,y) = (1,1) +0.5\cdot (4,-4)

K'(x,y) = (1,1) +(2,-2)

K'(x,y) = (3,-1)

L'(x,y) = (1,1) + 0.5\cdot [(5,5)-(1,1)]

L'(x,y) = (1,1) + 0.5\cdot (4,4)

L'(x,y) = (1,1) + (2,2)

L'(x,y) = (3,3)

M'(x,y) = (1,1) + 0.5\cdot [(3,7)-(1,1)]

M'(x,y) = (1,1) +0.5\cdot (2,6)

M'(x,y) = (1,1) +(1,3)

M'(x,y) = (2,4)

Now we proceed to present the graphs of the polygon and its image with the help of a graphing tool. The original polygon is highlighted in red and the image is highlighted in blue.

Pencils are sold in boxes of 10. Erasers are sold in boxes of 14. A teacher wants to buy the same number of pencils and erasers.
pentagon [3]

Answer:

We have;

7 pencil boxes and 5 eraser boxes

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the smallest number of boxes that can be bought, what we simply do is to find the lowest common multiple of the content of each of the boxes

hence, we are going to find the lowest common multiple of 10 and 14

The lowest common multiple of 10 and 14 is 70

So the smallest number of pencil boxes that can be bought is 70/10 = 7

The smallest number of eraser boxes would be 70/14 = 5

Order the following numbers from least to greatest. √11, -0.4, (-4/3), 0.8, √2
agasfer [191]

Answer:

(-4/3), 0.4, 0.8, √2, √11

Step-by-step explanation:

√11=3.316624790355399849114932736670686683927088545589353597058

0.4

(-4/3) = -1.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

0.8

√2=1.414213562373095048801688724209698078569671875376948073176

Thus :
