Y=3; y=1; y=-1; y=-3
For this question all you need to do is replace the variable with the number in the input box for example, y=2x-1, then in the input box it says 2 so u then add the 2, y=2•2-1, then u simply do the math.... y=3

Snowcat [4.5K]

1. Slope 3/4, through (4,-1)

y = 3/4 x + b

-1 = 3/4(4) + b

-1 = 3 + b

-1 - 3 = b

-4 = b

y = 3/4 x - 4

2. Slope = - 1/2, through (3,0)

y = -1/2 x + b

0 = -1/2(3) + b

0 = -1.5 + b

0 + 1.5 = b

1.5 = b

y = -1/2 x + 1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

(1)

AX is bisector of \angle RAT \implies \angle MAN ... (1)

In\: \triangle MIA \: \&\:\triangle NIA\\\angle AMI \cong \angle ANI ... (each \: 90\degree)\\\angle MAI \cong \angle NAI ....(from \: 1)\\AI \cong AI .. (common \:side) \\\therefore \triangle MIA \: \cong\:\triangle NIA.. \\(By \: AAS \: Postulate \: of \: congruence) \\\therefore IM = IN

(2)

In \: \square AMIN \\\angle A = \angle M= \angle N = 90°\\\therefore \angle I = 90°

(Remaining angle of quadrilateral)

\therefore \square AMIN is a rectangle.

\because IM = IN

(adjacent sides of a rectangle)

\therefore \square AMIN is a square.

Hence proved.

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (1, -7), and (3, 1)? -4 - 4
lozanna [386]
I’m not sure what the negative fours are at the end of your problem are for, but the slope of the line passing through those points is 4.

The line itself is y = 4x - 11
