What you have to do is take the cube root of eight and 1000 and get your answer. The answer would be 2/10.

PLEASE I NEED HELP! How do you find y?
myrzilka [38]

In this example, y is equal to 8.

In order to find this, first note that the two x value expressions create a straight line. That means when we add them together they will equal 180. this will give us a value for x.

x + 10 + 10x - 61 = 180

11x - 51 = 180

11x = 231

x = 21

Now that we have the value of x, we can do the same for the straight line created by the x + 10 angle and the 18y + 5 angle.

x + 10 + 18y + 5 = 180

(21) + 10 + 18y + 5 = 180

36 + 18y = 180

18y = 144

y = 8

2(x -9) = 9 divided ( - 1/3) what value of x makes the equation true <br> plsss help :)))
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

x = -9/2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Divide 9 by -1/3:

\frac{9}{1} ÷ -\frac{1}{3} = \frac{9}{1} · -\frac{3}{1}

= -27

2. Divide both sides by 2:

2(x - 9) = -27

\frac{2(x-9)}{2} = \frac{-27}{2}

(x - 9) = -\frac{27}{2}

3. Add 9 to both sides:

x = -\frac{9}{2}

(or 4.5 if you need it in decimal form)

hope this helps!

Help please and make sure the answer is right! Please :(
likoan [24]

You see how these 2 angles marked are both inside the 2 parallel lines?

And they are on opposite side of the transversal, the line crossing the 2 parallel lines?

These 2 angles are alternate interior angles and they are equal, I think you can do the last part by yourself.
