We know that the two angles are congruent (equal in measure), so we take the written out descriptions of the angles and convert them to equations that we set equal to each other.

"Three more than twice a number" = 2x + 3

"54.5 less than three times the number" = 3x - 54.5

2x + 3 = 3x - 54.5

Add 54.5 to both sides

2x + 57.5 = 3x

Subtract 2x from both sides

57.5 = x

Now we plug in 57.5 in the original equations to get the measure of each angle.

2(57.5) + 3 = 118 degrees

3(57.5) - 54.5 = 118 degrees

As we already knew, the angles are congruent.

P.S.: Nowhere in the prompt does it say anything about a triangle, just that we have a pair of congruent angles. Be sure to read each prompt carefully.

Please help ASAP!!!??
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

\{-2,-1,1,2,4\}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The attached graph

Required

Determine the range of the graph

First, we list out the coordinate of each point on the graph:

The points are:

\{(-4,-1),(-3,-2),(-2,2),(1,1),(2,4)\}

A function has the form: (x,y)

Where

y = range:

From the coordinate points above,

y = \{-1,-2,2,1,4\}

Order from least to greatest"

y = \{-2,-1,1,2,4\}

Hence, the range are: \{-2,-1,1,2,4\}

Find the surface area of regular prism with height 6 cm, if the base of the prism is a Regular quadrilateral with side 4 cm.
marshall27 [118]
A "regular quadrilateral" is a square, so the length and width are both 4 cm. The surface area of a rectangular prism is given by
  S = 2(LW +H(L +W))
  S = 2((4 cm)*(4 cm) +(6 cm)*(4 cm +4 cm))
  S = 2(16 cm² +48 cm²)
  S = 2*64 cm² = 128 cm²

The surface area of the prism is 128 cm².
