Answer:

B. All people on the night side of Earth

Explanation:

A lunar eclipse is a phenomenon that occurs when the Earth comes between the Moon and the Sun thereby causing it to cover the Moon with its shadow.

Simply stated, lunar eclipse takes place when the Moon passes or moves through the Earth's shadow thereby blocking any ray of sunlight from reaching the Moon. Thus, the full moon appears deep red (blood moon).

Also, a lunar eclipse would occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are closely aligned to form a straight line known as the syzygy.

There are three (3) types of lunar eclipse and these are;

1. Total lunar eclipse.

2. Partial lunar eclipse.

3. Penumbra lunar eclipse.

In a nutshell, all people on the night side of Earth can witness a lunar eclipse and have a good view of the Moon.

melting, boiling, and bending are considered physical changes, but burning is a chemical change. explain why this is so.
Naya [18.7K]
So, when you make something boiling or melting, its still the same substance. Water doesn't change into something else, just change its state of matter. When you burn something, one substance reacts with another. For example, when you burn carbon in oxygen, you get carbon dioxide. That's the difference.

If 5.100 g of c6h6 is burned and the heat produced from the burning is added to 5691 g of water at 21 °c, what is the final temp
emmasim [6.3K]
 C6H12 = 6x12 + 6x1 = 78.
The equation indicates that 2x78 = 156g benzene will produce 6542kJ.
Using proportions you can then calculate that
x/6542kJ = 7.9g / 156g
x = 331.3kJ = 331300J.

heat = mass x ΔT x 4.18J/g°
ΔT = 331300J / (5691g x 4.18J/g°) = 13.9°

final temp = 21 + 14° = 35°C

Part a predict the product and propose a mechanism for the elimination reaction that results when (s)-(1-chloropropyl)benzene is
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

Propenyl-benzene

Explanation:

Hello,

Elimination reaction of solid (1-chloropropyl)-benzene due to the heat in presence of ethanol turns out based on the attached picture in which both the chlorine a the hydrogen in the second carbon go out and subsequently get together to form propenyl-benzene and hydrochloric acid.

Best regards.
