Carson's Rule says:

FM occupied bandwidth =

(2) · (Peak deviation + Highest modulating frequency)

so

FM bw = (2) · (60 kHz + 15 kHz)

FM bw = (2) · (75 kHz)

FM bw = 150 kHz

Which planet shows evidence of water erosion?
Kipish [7]
The planet which shows evidence of water erosion is Mars. Scientists discovered that Mars is the only other planet which has evidences of water existance as Mars' atmosphere contains trace amounts of water vapor, and it surprisingly turned out that it also has polar ice caps which are filled with frozen H2O. And, as you may have heart, Mars has shown many evidences of past river valleys and lakes.

A hot-air balloonist, rising vertically with a constant velocity of magnitude 5.00 m/s, releases a sandbag at an instant when th
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

y=39.057 m

Explanation:

Using Kinematic relation

s=ut+ \frac{1}{2}at^2

given u= 5m/s

a=g= -9.81 m/s^2( directed downward)

s=5t- \frac{1}{2}(9.80)t^2

Also, we know that

v=u+at

v=5-9.80t

at time t= 0.250 sec

s=5\times0.25- \frac{1}{2}(9.80)0.25^2

s=0.94375 m

now position of sandbag

y= 40-0.94375

y=39.057 m

(x – 2)² = 5(y + 1), where x and y are measured in centimeters. You need to place a new light bulb in your flashlight. How far a
kiruha [24]

Answer:

The coordinates of the point the bulb should be placed is (2, 0.25)

Explanation:

The given equation of a parabola is presented as follows;

(x - 2)² = 5·(y + 1)

The point the bulb should be placed is the focus of the parabolic mirror to ensure a perfect (straight) beam

The general form of the equation of a parabola is (x - h)² = 4·p·(y - k)

The coordinates of the focus of the parabola for p > 0 f = (h, k + p)

By comparison, h = 2, k = -1, and p = 5/4

∴ The coordinates of the focus of the parabola, f = (2, -1 + 5/4) = (2, 0.25)

The coordinates of the point the bulb should be placed is at the focus, f = (2, 0.25).
