The equation represents the decomposition of a generic diatomic element in its standard state. 12X2(g)⟶X(g) 12X2(g)⟶X(g) Assume

that the standard molar Gibbs energy of formation of X(g) is 5.24 kJ·mol−15.24 kJ·mol−1 at 2000. K and −65.59 kJ·mol−1−65.59 kJ·mol−1 at 3000. K. Determine the value of KK (the thermodynamic equilibrium constant) at each temperature. Assuming that ΔH∘rxn is independent of temperature, determine the value of ΔH∘rxn from this data.

Answer:

At 2000 K, K=0.72

At 3000 K, K=14.7

Explanation:

Given that

ΔG = 5.24 KJ/mol ,T= 2000 K

ΔG =- 65.59 KJ/mol ,T= 3000 K

The Gibbs energy at temperature T is given as

ΔG =- RT ln K

R= Universal gas constant

R=8.314 J/mol.K

At T= 2000 K ,ΔG = 5.24 KJ/mol

ΔG =- RT ln K

5.24 x 1000 = 8.314 x 2000 ln K

K=e^{-0.32}

K=0.72

At T= 32000 K ,ΔG = -65.59 KJ/mol

ΔG =- RT ln K

-65.59 x 1000 = -8.314 x 3000 ln K

K=e^{2.68}

K=14.7

A small ball of charge Q and mass m has a velocity v at infinity. It collides head-on with a ball of the same charge and mass wh
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

Kinetic energy of ball in motion = 1/2 m v² . Potential energy = 0

Let the minimum distance between the balls be d on collision.

Electric potential energy at that time= k Q²/d , Here kinetic energy is converted into potential energy . So

1/2 m v² = kQ²/d

d =2 k Q² / mv²,= 18 x 10⁹ x Q²/ m v².

A wire runs left to right and carries a current in the direction shown. What is the direction of the magnetic field at point Z?
Vanyuwa [196]
The correct option is out of the screen.

As the motion of positive charge is the direction of current in the wire. From the right-hand curl rule, the magnetic field direction will be outside the paper or the screen. As the wire runs left to right and carries a current in the direction from left to right, the magnetic field lines will be outside the screen.

Lasers are important to help mankind in many different reasons. Some of these reasons include laser hair removal, some kinds of eye surgery, and lasers are said to help with the military in the near future. Laser hair removal is usually used for getting rid of unwanted hairs. And is just a easy alternative to regular waxing or doing it yourself. Some types of eye surgery require lasers to complete them successfully. This is usually very very precise as lasers get the job done at pin point accuracy. Besides medical uses the U.S. military have been testing laser weapons on battleships to attack or defend oncoming missiles. This will most likely replace small firing cannons or flares.

I hope this helped you.
