Actually, this question first involves COMBINATIONS and then PERMUTATIONS.

We first must calculate how many combinations can 5 things can be chosen from 7.
The formula is:
n! / r! *(n -r)! =
7! / 5! * 2! =
7 * 6 * 5! / 5 ! * 2 =
7 * 6 / 2 = 21 ways we can choose 5 things from 7 objects.

Now we must see how many permutations there are of 5 things:
5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 =
120

That means we can put each of the 5 song combinations into 120 "5 song sequences".
So, the total number of ways is
21 * 120 = 2,520 possible ways.

Step-by-step explanation:

(a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2\\\\2x^2-4x-9=0\qquad|\text{add 9 to both sides}\\\\2x^2-4x-9+9=0+9\\\\2x^2-4x=9\qquad|\text{divide both sides by 2}\\\\\dfrac{2x^2}{2}-\dfrac{4x}{2}=\dfrac{9}{2}\\\\x^2-2x=4.5\\\\x^2-2\cdot x\cdot1=4.5\qquad|\text{add}\ 1^2\ \text{to both sides}\\\\x^2-2\cdot x\cdot1+1^2=4.5+1^2\\\\(x-1)^2=5.5\iff x-1=\pm\sqrt{5.5}\qquad|\text{add 1 to both sides}\\\\x=1-\sqrt{5.5}\ \vee\ x=1+\sqrt{5.5}

What is the value of x in the equation 1.5(x + 4) – 3 = 4.5(x – 2)?<br> a 3<br> b 4<br> c 5<br> d 9
Pepsi [2]
The answer would be B) x = 4.

1.5x + 6 - 3 = 4.5x - 9

1.5x + 3 = 4.5x - 9

3 = 4.5x - 9 - 1.5x

3 = 3x - 9

3 + 9 = 3x

12 = 3x

12/3 = x

4 = x

x = 4.

In triangle ABC shown below, side AB is 8 and side AC is 6:
lbvjy [14]
Segment AD is 4, and segment AE is 3. This is because AB is 8, and half of 8 is 4, and then AC is 6, and half of 6 is 3.
