Answer:

(i) 22.48 cm^3

(ii) 1.5 mm

Explanation:

Let t be the average thickness of the sheet.

Given that:

Density of the aluminum sheet is 2.70 g/cm^3

Mass of sheet = 60.7 g

Length of sheet  = 50.0 cm

Width of sheet  = 30.0 cm

(i) Using, Density=Mass/Volume

\Rightarrow \text{Volume}=\frac{\text{Mass}}{\text{Density}}

\Rightarrow \text{Volume}=\frac{60.7}{2.7}=22.48 cm^3

Hence, the volume of the sheet is 22.48 cm^3.

(ii) Now, as this aluminum sheet is in the shape of a cuboid, so the volume of the sheet is

\text{Volume}=\text{Length}\times\text{Width}\times\text{Thickness}

\Rightarrow 22.48=50\times 30 \times w

\Rightarrow w=\frac{22.48}{50\times 30}=0.015 cm

Hence, the average thickness of the sheet is 1.5 mm.

An iv curve is generated for two ohmic devices, one is a good conductor and the other is a good insulator. which one will have a
allochka39001 [22]

As per the question there are two ohmic devices.

The first ohmic device is a good conductor and the second one is a good insulator.

As per Ohm's law the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference maintained across the two ends of a conductor at constant temperature and pressure. If V is the potential and I is the current flow through these Ohmic devices,then mathematically it can be written as-

                                                      V∝ I   [ at constant temperature and pressure]

                                                   ⇒V= IR

Here R is the proportionality constant called resistance of the material.

 Hence the resistance R  is calculated as -

                                                         R=\frac{V}{I}

Now a graph is plotted taking potential  V on X-axis and current I along Y- axis.

The graph will be a straight line  for conductor and will be a curve depending on the type of insulator.

The slope of this graph will give  the resistance of the material.

An insulator is a substance through which current flow is very low as its resistance is very high.Hence the slope of the V-I curve is very large.

A conductor is that substance through which current is flown easily as  the resistance of conductor is very low.Hence the slope of V-I curve is smaller,

In a population of seals, most of the seals have similar coloring. However, one seal has albinism. This seal is white and is alm
timofeeve [1]
<span>The cause of albinism in one seal in a population of seals with similar coloring is gene mutation. Albinism is a recessive trait caused by a mutation in the gene for the enzyme which is important in melanin synthesis. Since melanin is a pigment responsible for hair and skin colour, the gene mutation will cause the absence of melanin and thus, albinism.</span>
