Unfortunately, Tashara, you have not provided enuf info from which to calculate the values of a and b.  If you were to set  <span>F(x)=x(x+a)(x-b)  = to 0, then:

x=0,
x=-a
x=-b

but this doesn't answer your question.
Double check that you have shared all aspects of this question.</span>

</span></span></span></span>
b=xa-F+x(squared)
over x+a

How do you determine the quadratic equation having roots that are real numbers and equal
zvonat [6]

Answer:

To determine the nature of roots of quadratic equations (in the form ax^2 + bx +c=0) , we need to calculate the discriminant, which is b^2 - 4 a c. When discriminant is greater than zero, the roots are unequal and real. When discriminant is equal to zero, the roots are equal and real.

The rate at which sand is poured into a bag is modeled by the function r given by r(t)=15t−2t2, where r(t) is measured in millil
balu736 [363]

Answer:

35 mililiters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

r(t) = 15t - 2t^2

Required

Accumulated amount from t = 0 to 2

This implies that, we substitute the values of t from 0 to 2 in the function

r(0) = 15*0 - 2*0^2= 0

r(1) = 15*1 - 2*1^2= 13

r(2) = 15*2 - 2*2^2= 22

The accumulated sand (r) is:

t = r(0) + r(1) + r(2)

r = 0 + 13 + 22

r = 35

Solve x + 3y = 9. 3x – 3y = –13
Sloan [31]
Question \ 1) \ x + 3y = 9

&#10;x=9-3y&#10; &#10;  |Subtract \ 3y \ from \ both \ sides|

Question \ 2) \ 3x - 3y = -13

&#10;3(x-y)=-13&#10; &#10;   |Factor \ out \ the \ common \ term \ 3|

x-y= \dfrac{13}{3}   |Divide \ both \ sides \ by \ 3|

x=- \dfrac{13}{3}+y  |Add \ y \ to \ both \ sides|

x=y- \dfrac{13}{3}  |Regroup \ terms|
