The balloon started to inflate which suggests that the chemical created a reaction and since the chemical couldn't go into the air or out of the flask it created the gas inside which inflated the balloon. Also you can see little bubbles forming and going to the surface which suggests a gas was produced, I hope this made sense lol XD

Were the baking soda and the hydroelectric acid are reacting to each other the let out a gas since the balloon is on top of the flank the gas goes ups and inflates the balloon. The evidence is that the balloon is inflating.

P14.003A spherical gas-storage tank with an inside diameter of 8.1 m is being constructed to store gas under an internal pressur
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

The minimum wall thickness required for the spherical tank is 0.0189 m

Explanation:

Given data:

d = inside diameter = 8.1 m

P = internal pressure = 1.26 MPa

σ = 270 MPa

factor of safety = 2

Question: Determine the minimum wall thickness required for the spherical tank, tmin = ?

The allow factor of safety:

\sigma _{a}  =\frac{\sigma }{factor-of-safety} =\frac{270}{2} =135MPa

The minimun wall thickness:

t=\frac{Pd}{4\sigma _{a} } =\frac{1.26*8.1}{4*135} =0.0189m

Alice climbs 100 meters directly up the face of a cliff to reach the summit. Her friend Peter hikes the long way around taking a
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

Alice Distance = 100 meters

Peter's Distance = 3 km

Alice Displacement and Peter's displacement are both 100 meters upwards.

Explanation:

To solve this question, we have to first define distance and displacement.

Distance is simply the measurement of the sum of all paths travelled from one point to another while displacement is measurement of the shortest distance from initial point to final point.

Now, Alice and Peter are moving from the same point.

Alice distance travelled is 100 meters.

Also, her displacement will be 100 meters because it is the shortest distance to the summit of the cliff.

Now, for Peter, he decides to take a longer route which is 3 km in distance.

However, the shortest path which is the displacement is still 100 meters.

Thus, Peter's displacement is 100 meters.

The wave speed on a string under tension is 200 m/s. What is the speed if the tension is doubled?
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

v = 282.84 m / s

Explanation:

The speed of a wave in a wire is given by the equation

       .v = √ T /ρ

Where v is the speed of the wave, T the tension in the wire and ρ the density of the wire

 If the tension is doubled

        T = 2T₀

        v = √ (2T₀ / ρ)

        v = √2   √ T₀ / ρ

        v = √2  v₀

calculate

       v = √2  200

       v = 282.84 m / s

Exercise can help to prevent which potential health problem? a). head lice b). chicken pox c). heart disease d). strep throat
Mrac [35]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Exercise also increases your levels of HDL cholesterol, the "good" cholesterol that lowers heart disease risk by flushing the artery-clogging LDL or "bad" cholesterol out of your system.
