First figure out how many cookies Jose got rid of. So firstly there would be those 5 that he ate, and then 21 that he gave to his friends (each friend got 3 cookies, so 7x3 is 21 cookies). Add 21 and 5 to get 26. Since he got rid of 26 cookies, but subtract 26 from 54 to get the number of cookies Jose has left:

      54-26 = 28

Thus, Jose has 28 cookies left.

4 2/3 lbs = small puppy weight
4 2/3 times the small puppies weight = large puppy weight
          4 2/3 × 4 2/3 or 4 2/3^2 = 21.77777.... or in mixed number is 21 7/9 lbs

Svetach [21]

Answer:

The second one (2) is a lie

Step-by-step explanation:

The quantities are all proportional, with 4 donuts costing one dollar being consistant. With this, we can multiply the amount of donuts to 40, and through what we know, we can find that the donuts will cost 10 dollars. This leaves only (2) left.
