x^2 = 9x + 6

Rewrite that in standard form:  x^2 - 9x - 6 = 0

Solve by completing the square:

x^2 - 9x + (-9/2)^2 - (-9/2)^2 - 6 = 0

         (x-9/2)^2       -(-9/2)^2 - 6 = 0, or   (x-9/2)^2 -81/4 - 24/4 = 0

         (x-9/2)^2 -105/4 = 0, or                  (x-9/2)^2 = 105/4



          x-9/2 = plus or minus sqrt(105/4),    or x = 9/2 plus or minus sqrt(105)/2
