An academic vocabulary is defined as words that are not necessarily common or frequently encountered in informal conversation.

So, based on this definition, the 4th option is the correct one.

The protagonist of “Mericans,” Micaela, expresses that her grandmother is awful.

This sentence does not denote anything that is informal rather it seems a formal sentence.

I believe it is D as it is a better answer than D because of the fact that the statement does not explein the age of her grandmother "old" is just drawing a conclusion off nothing, and it does not say that she does not like her at all , thus it is an incorrect statement . So the answer is D.

Describe and the explain the changes in blood lactic acid and concentration shown in the graph || guys someone please help i’m f
7nadin3 [17]
During the exercise period (10-15min) the blood lactic acid concentration increases to about 13.2 mmol/dL (same units as on graph) as the individual is having problems keeping up their aerobic respiration. After 15min, they stop exercising and the lactic acid concentration starts to return to normal as their body is able to take in enough oxygen and catches up with the excess lactic acid, metabolizing it into CO2 and H2O. The period between 15-20 min shows the fastest reduction in concentration.

How do you think the Law of Universal Gravitation State connects why apples fall down and planets circle in orbit?
Leviafan [203]
Apples are drawn to a massive object, like the earth, and fall down under a gravitational constant. On the other hand, planets revolve around a more massive object under the same premise. It’s the same idea, just one follows a linear path, and the other has a uniform circular motion path because other forces are acting on it. In other words, the planets ARE still falling, but the sun is also pulled by them so they just keep dancing.
